Shrimp And Pasta Toss

Spicy shrimp pasta dish combines shell pasta with shrimp, celery and onion. Pasta mixture is tossed with spicy sauce.
Ingredients -
1 pound Rotini or Shell Shaped Pasta
3/4 cup Barbecue Sauce
1 cup Mayonnaise
1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
1/4 cup Red Wine Vinegar
3/4 pound Cooked Shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 1/2 cup diced Celery
1/2 cup diced Onion
chopped Fresh Parsley for garnish
 
Preparation:

1. Cook pasta in large boiling salted water.

2. Combine barbecue sauce, mayonnaise, cheese, and vinegar to medium sized bowl.

3. Drain pasta and add to a separate large bowl.

4. Add shrimp, celery and onion. Toss gently.

5. Add barbecues sauce mixture and toss.

6. Cover. Refrigerate until chilled.

7. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.

Fresh Shrimp
Use fresh shrimp as soon as possible as they are very perishable. If you wont be eating them immediately, freeze them for later use.

At the supermarket or fish market, shrimp should be stored in a very cold place, preferably on ice, with little access to the heated areas around it.
